Personalized nutrition, rooted in a functional approach.
Personalized nutrition using functional testing, real food, and lifestyle — for anyone looking to feel better.
Hi, I'm Jesse.
I'm a clinical nutritionist based in Austin, Texas. I got interested in this work during my master's degree at Georgetown University, where I learned how nearly all chronic disease begins in the gut. I then went on to complete a Post Master's certificate in Integrative Nutrition. That's what pulled me toward gut health as a foundation for improving overall health and preventing disease down the line. I love the way this field is always changing and evolving, and how it keeps me learning at all times.
I practice personalized nutrition, using functional testing, lab work, food tracking, and other tools to develop a plan that's built around you. I truly believe the body is designed to heal itself, and that natural approaches are the best way to support that process.
We're more chronically ill than ever — and the current medical system isn't built to fix it.
Conventional care is excellent in a crisis. But for chronic symptoms like fatigue, gut issues, hormones, and autoimmune flare ups, 15 minute visits and a prescription rarely address the underlying issue. A functional approach treats the body as a whole, and looks for the root cause instead of just treating the symptoms.
US adults live with a chronic disease. Four in ten have two or more.
of calories in the average American diet come from ultra-processed foods.
Americans are deficient or suboptimal in one or more essential nutrients.
Nutrition is one of the most consistent choices we make — multiple times a day, every day. Few factors shape long-term health and longevity more.
